Following The Reading Bus presentation on March 7 in SRK (C) Chung Hua Pujut, the mobile library was finally open at church last Saturday.

The response to the free English enrichment programme was excellent as it brought much excitement to the students and parents alike.

This year The Reading Bus programme is one of focal points of the Missions Ministry to animate our own backyard in Pujut.

The fortnightly class will run from March 26 to May 28.

During registration some parents praised the church’s effort to improve English proficiency among the students from Chinese schools. “We are grateful to the church. This will help improve my son’s proficiency in English,” commented an obviously pleased mother.

Rev. Lisa Ting was present to assist during the registration as the volunteers were overwhelmed by the high enrolment.

“We pray more hands will come forward to serve as we are short-handed,” said Rev. Lisa. “This session we have 72 students but we expect 100 students to turn up in the next one,” added the pastor-in-charge.

Please contact the church office if you wish to serve or find out more about this ministry.
