Miri – As Mother’s Day falls on this Sunday, 4th Miri has prepared the Boys and Girls at SRK (C) Chung Hua Pujut to craft their own gifts to appreciate their mothers.

The Boys had both fun and challenging time in doing an interesting origami Mother’s Day card while the Girls were clearly better with their display of fine motor skills.

“Our activities are not only thematic-based – we also teach the students to always to honour their parents, teachers and elders,” commented 4th Miri Boys’ Brigade Captain Roseline Lee.

Also present to help in this afternoon’s activity was Pastor Tiong Huong Ong, the Chaplain of 4th Miri Boys’ Brigade.

This is the way to fold, says the BB Captain.

The Girls have no problem with fine motor skills.

Madam, is this correct? asks the Boy.

Finally the Boys are happy with their origami cards!
